Signal, Aberdeen’s leading video and animation production company, have just completed production on a brand-new 3D animation for local business, Intervention Rentals, and their innovative sister company, Sustainable Solutions.
Sustainable Solutions provide a turnkey system that takes dirty water from industrial and agricultural sources, and filters it to create two separate, and sustainable outputs: 99% of the filtered water is clean enough to be returned directly to natural watercourses, while the remining waste product is turned into a solid product that can be reused as animal feed, fertiliser, or biomass fuel.
Sustainable Solutions’ aim is to take carbon and greenhouse gasses off the road, reduce the need for unnecessary waste, and maximise their clients’ carbon reporting.
Signal’s Creative Director, Mark Turner said, “We always take the time to really understand the technical requirements and work with our clients to create a narrative that distils their USPs. We’ve created a bespoke design for that is both visually engaging and on brand.”
Signal worked with the Sustainable Solutions team to turn this technically complex process into a concise and visually striking animation that explained the process and benefits without getting bogged down in the technical detail.
Lucas Scott, Marketing Manager for Sustainable Solutions, said: “Waste 2 Energy is not easy to explain in a few seconds. The process involves dirty water entering the system, staged separation, treated water recovery, and retained biowaste being converted into a dry organic material. Signal helped us turn that journey and into a clear, visual story that people can understand quickly. The animation has already become a valuable tool for showing customers how the unit works, what the outputs are, and how on-site treatment can support a more circular approach to process water management.
"I’d recommend Signal for your 2D/3D animations.”
