A quarter of a century in business and a clutch of awards – 2016 has been a milestone year for Clark Integrated Technologies.
And in a year when cyber attacks have dominated the news – including hacks of Tesco, Vodafone and Yahoo accounts – the firm’s managing director Austen Clark has continued to campaign to raise awareness of the importance of cyber security to businesses of all sizes.
Mr Clark states: “Cyber crime has been a headline grabber, and this has made more people sit up and recognise just how devastating the consequences are if your business becomes a target of hacking.
“But the reality is that many Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) still need to do more to protect themselves. An attack can result in weeks of delayed or lost business, as well as financial loss and damage to reputation. As always, our message to all businesses is to increase awareness and take adequate measures to protect against an attack and remember that “prevention is better than cure.”
It has been a year of celebrations for Clark IT who were joined by clients from all over the UK for a gala dinner at Fyvie Castle in July to celebrate the firm’s 25th anniversary. The firm has had other good news by gaining and maintaining a raft of awards and accreditations during the year.
Clark were recognised again for the fourth year as a leading MSP on the annual MSP mentor Global 501 list and retained the ISO 9001 quality management standard. In addition, the firm maintained its reputation with global leaders in technology, being both a Cisco Select certified partner and a Microsoft Silver Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions Partner and Cyber Essentials Certified.
Mr Clark says: “2016 has certainly been a memorable year for Clark IT and one that we will look back on with pride, having celebrated 25 years in business and also having success in the shape of awards and accreditations which keep us as one of the “benchmark” companies within the managed IT providers industry.
“Many of our clients have been with us since the early days of the business and as we continue to grow, develop and expand into new markets, we remain committed to staying at the helm of a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing digital world.”
