The SNP are set to pledge an additional £1million towards regenerating Aberdeen's Union Street.
Ahead of John Swinney's manifesto publication on Thursday, The Press and Journal this morning reports it will include the promise of an additional £600,000 for efforts to revive the Granite Mile.
It comes after the SNP pledged £400,000 towards the project three years ago.
Bob Keiller, chairman of Our Union Street, said: “Union Street was built on ambition, and its future will be secured by matching that ambition once again.
“It is encouraging to see the future of the Granite Mile recognised as an important priority.”
