Aberdeen-based charity Somebody Cares SCIO is pleased to announce the appointment of two new managers to its leadership team, reinforcing the charity's capacity to serve Aberdeen's community.

Mabel Pui Mun McLean joined Somebody Cares SCIO in August as Charity Operations Manager, bringing added strength and structure to the charity's day-to-day delivery of services.

Lisa Barnard joined the charity this month as Fundraising Development Lead, marking the charity's first dedicated appointment to this role and a renewed focus on building sustainable funding for its work.

The addition of these two roles strengthens our position and our vision to make sure we help those who need it most," said Yekemi Otaru, CEO of Somebody SCIO. "We are strengthening our fundraising muscle and optimising our systems so that we can support the Aberdeen community more effectively than ever before."

These appointments come as SCS continues to grow its impact across the city, including its food bank services, furniture provision, and community support programmes.
