Space Solutions is celebrating two important team milestones recognising the dedication and contribution of Director, Kenny Cope, who marks 29 years with the business and Client Development Lead, Finley Symon who celebrates three years with the company.
Founded in Aberdeen by Steve Judge, Space Solutions has grown from its local roots into a nationwide workplace design and build specialist, supporting organisations across Scotland to create workplaces that are flexible, efficient and tailored to their clients needs.
Kenny’s 29 years with Space Solutions represent almost the entire history of the business and highlight a long-standing commitment to both the company and its clients. During his time with the business, Kenny has seen the workplace industry evolve considerably and has played an important role in Space Solutions’ continued development and growth.
Kenny Cope said: "Over my 29 years as an Architect and workplace specialist, I have watched our city’s office design completely reinvent itself, transforming from the rigid, tech-cluttered corporate suites of the late 1990s into today’s agile, energy-conscious 'destination spaces'. In the early days of my career, floor plans across the North East were dictated by paper-heavy oil and gas administration, bulky CRT monitors, and large radial desks. As technology shrunk and wireless connectivity took over, we pioneered the shift toward open-plan agility, leading into the current post-pandemic hybrid era which has inverted the workplace's purpose entirely. Today, my work focuses on delivering collaborative environment, incorporating multiple work settings and driving low-carbon, sustainable refurbishments that align with Aberdeen’s energy transition and actively entice people back to the office."

Finley is celebrating three years with the company, driving the continued growth of Space Solutions’ through strong client relationships and new business opportunities. His role involves working closely with clients to understand their requirements and identify how Space Solutions can support them through their variety of services.
Together, the milestones reflect the breadth of experience within the Space Solutions team and the importance the business places on its people. From those who have helped shape the company over decades to those building its future, the team remains central to its success.
The celebrations come at an exciting time for Space Solutions, as the company prepares to mark its 30th anniversary in 2027. Reaching three decades in business will be a significant milestone for a company that began in Aberdeen and has since established a nationwide presence.
