The merger of two popular outdoor activity services, operated by award-winning charity Sport Aberdeen, was celebrated on Tuesday November 12, broadening the range of outdoor adventurous activities available in Aberdeen and providing an enhanced experience for all.
Adventure Aberdeen and Aberdeen Snowsports Centre now come under the newly re-launched ‘Adventure Aberdeen’ brand; with the snowsports facility at Garthdee known going forward as ‘Adventure Aberdeen Snowsports’.
Bringing the outdoor adventure offerings together enables Sport Aberdeen to create even more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get active, with outdoor learning and participation opportunities available within a community setting.
Encompassing a range of exciting outdoor and adventurous activities from venues in the heart of the city, Kingswells, and Cromdale in Speyside, Adventure Aberdeen will offer a wide variety of dynamic, inclusive and accessible activities including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, hillwalking and water-based sports.
