Aberdeen Performing Arts has welcomed Peterson Energy Logistics as the inaugural member of their Ovation Club, marking a partnership between the two which will build on a shared vision recognising the vital role of the arts in the region.

The Ovation Club, launched by the arts charity earlier this year, provides opportunities for businesses and individuals to be part of the continued success of the arts and culture sector in Aberdeen, supporting work at His Majesty’s Theatre, the Music Hall and the Lemon Tree as well as a year-round programme of festivals including the Aberdeen Comedy Festival, Granite Noir and Light the Blue.

All funds raised through the Ovation Club will directly support Aberdeen Performing Arts’ outreach work with communities across the region, providing meaningful cultural experiences that connect, inspire and empower, and creating a significant platform to ensure cultural access remains open, inclusive and accessible to everyone.

Logistics and supply chain solutions company Peterson, which has its UK corporate headquarters in Aberdeen city centre, has already enjoyed a unique range of Ovation Club benefits, including an exclusive backstage tour of the historic His Majesty’s Theatre for staff, with other perks including a pre-theatre dinner and seats in the venue’s Royal Boxes for up to four times per year, use of the iconic HMT and Music Hall stages for networking events, invites to special events including receptions, openings and previews and more.

Aberdeen Performing Arts Chief Executive, Sharon Burgess, said “We are delighted to welcome Peterson Energy Logistics to the Aberdeen Performing Arts family as the newest member of the Ovation Club.

As a charity and one of Scotland’s leading arts organisations, we are deeply committed to making the arts accessible to all – enriching the cultural life of the North-East through grassroots opportunities and by bringing world-class performances to our stages.

“The Ovation Club plays a vital role in helping us deliver that mission. Support from companies like Peterson Energy Logistics enables us to extend our reach, deepen our impact, and provide creative experiences that truly make a difference in the communities we serve.

Suzanne Mackie, Head of Communications and Engagement at Peterson Energy Logistics, said: “We are proud to be the inaugural member of APA’s Ovation Club. APA is the cultural heartbeat of the region and the work it does in terms of broadening horizons, promoting ambition, and nurturing a creative community is incredibly important. We firmly believe in our responsibility as a business to support the communities in which we operate and partnering with APA allows us to demonstrate that.”
