While recruitment in the sector has seen a slight improvement, there are still a high number of individuals who are unemployed from working directly or indirectly in an oil and gas role.
The Chamber is well known for connecting people, opening doors and helping individuals ‘join the dots’. Building on the success of the 2017 initiative, we are offering a new programme, funded by the Transition Training Fund, to support and mentor middle and senior managers who are unemployed due to the downturn in the oil and gas industry to transition into employment.
The Springboard programme will help you create your new brand, open your eyes to new industry sectors, build self-confidence and help you recognise your transferable skills. This will be done within the support network of others on the programme.
