STACK. Office has completed Phase 1 of significant building repairs at 210-214 Union Street, transforming the ground floor with a bold redesign, and stopping the water ingress that left around 80% of the building's top-floor offices unusable.

When STACK. Office acquired the building, fixing the leaks was identified as an urgent priority and they invested in significant repairs on the roof to stop the source of the damage. Phase 2, now under way, will address the remaining damage caused by the leaks inside the building, so the top-floor offices can be fully restored to a high standard.

Union Street has stood at the heart of Aberdeen for over 200 years and remains one of the city's most historically significant streets. STACK. Office believes buildings on Union Street deserve the investment needed to keep them in use for generations to come - and it's far from alone in needing that attention, with several other buildings also requiring care.

Euan Stuart, Founder, STACK. Office, said: “When we bought this building, we knew it needed more than a quick lick of paint - we needed to invest quite a sum to get the building back up to scratch. Completing Phase 1 is a real milestone, and now the fun begins: turning these spaces into quality offices for Aberdeen businesses.”

STACK. Office is sharing this update with fellow members of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, reflecting its wider commitment to supporting the city centre and Aberdeen's growth. To see STACK. Office, get in touch or visit any time on Open Door Day -Wednesday 9th September.
