STV has partnered with LG Electronics (LG) to make free streaming service STV Player available on LG TVs across the UK.
The streamer, which is home to an extensive catalogue of live and on-demand content from around the world, is now available on LG TVs, projectors and monitors running webOS 25 software and above.
Partnering with LG – a global innovator in technology and consumer electronics – significantly expands STV Player’s reach. As part of LG’s commitment to providing seamless, user-friendly access to high-quality entertainment, STV Player will be available to LG smart TV users via the intuitive webOS platform, offering easy access to STV Player’s extensive range of content.

STV Player is the streaming home of Channel 3 network content in Scotland. The service also offers UK original and international drama box sets, sport and factual entertainment to viewers across the UK – much of which isn't available to stream on any other platform.
Recent hits include true crime series Believe Me and Coroner, and police drama Red Rock. In 2023, STV Player became the first streaming service to relaunch iconic British soap Brookside from the very start, with episodes dropping weekly on the platform.
