Leading independent law firm Stronachs LLP has underlined its commitment to developing the next generation of legal talent, welcoming five new trainee solicitors to its Aberdeen office.
As part of Stronachs’ two-year traineeship programme, each trainee will have the opportunity to gain experience across a range of departments, developing their skills and knowledge before qualification in 2028.
The programme provides trainees with exposure to the firm’s diverse client base, ranging from individuals and family businesses to SMEs and major corporations, while giving them the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s work from the outset.
Stronachs has also added two newly qualified solicitors to its teams following the successful completion of their traineeships. Molly-Ella Fowler, based in the firm’s Aberdeen office, has joined the employment team and Jamie MacDonald has joined the corporate team in Inverness.

Partner Deborah Law, who oversees Stronachs’ traineeship programme, said: “We are proud to invest in the next generation of solicitors through our traineeship programme.
“Our trainees gain hands-on experience across a range of practice areas, contribute to our work from day one and benefit from a strong focus on professional development. They bring impressive academic backgrounds, enthusiasm and fresh perspectives to our teams, and we look forward to supporting Conall, Jenna, Kara, Katie and Marie throughout the next two years.
“We were also delighted to offer permanent positions to Molly-Ella and Jamie, strengthening our teams in Aberdeen and Inverness.”
Applications for Stronachs’ 2028 traineeship programme are now open, with the deadline for submissions on 28 September 2026. More information and details on how to apply can be found here.
