Headmaster Stefan Horsman said, “I want to congratulate all our pupils on these excellent results! In this first year back with a full diet of exams, we are delighted with the achievements of our pupils. Their hard work over the last few years given all the disruption they have experienced has really paid off and has led to these fantastic results across the board. We are delighted that almost all pupils have achieved their first choice of university or college course. To see the pupils heading on to their next stage successful and happy is an absolute pleasure for us and all the teachers whose hard work has also been immense over the past two years. We are very proud of everyone - well done!”

S6 pupil and School Captain for 2022-23, Simi Ogedengbe who attained five A grades all at band 1 in Highers said:

“I’m really glad that Albyn has given me the opportunity of a great school experience. I’m pleased with my exam results and I feel that without the school, I may not have been able to achieve the grades I did. The teachers are supportive, treat us like individuals, and provide an individual approach to learning for us all.”

Alongside Simi who was delighted with their 2022 results was Kai Crawford who achieved five Higher A1s and three As at Advanced Higher level. Kai, who gained a highly impressive academic scholarship to study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Alabama, said:

“I’ve had a great experience at Albyn School and will definitely miss it when I leave. I was given so many opportunities at the school, both academic and co-curricular. I made a strong group of friends, some of whom I have known since P1 and will definitely stay in touch with them”.
