Cala Homes has unveiled a brand new showhome at its flagship Milltimber development.

The four-bedroom Brodie showhome at Woodhurst at Oldfold Village in Milltimber is now available to view for prospective buyers  and follows the launch of the new phase and new sales suite.

Located in the sought-after town of Milltimber, the new showhome was designed by the expert team at Envision, and carefully curated to appeal to a variety of potential buyers.

The impressive showhome embraces a rich, moody palette of ‘autumn-inspired’ tones, like cinnamon and stone, to create a warm and welcoming interior.

Visitors enter the home and are lead through the hall to the open plan rich, walnut kitchen and dining area designed to be the perfect spot for family get togethers, with bi-fold doors leading out to the patio and rear garden.

The separate family room features an inlaid wood panelling paired with a honed granite wallpaper, perfectly finished off with a signature curvy sofa designed to be piled on for a cosy movie night, and black corner reading lights which also make it an ideal reading nook for those upcoming cold winter nights.

Heading upstairs, the main bedroom continues the cosy feel from downstairs, featuring a grand and inviting bed layered with pale tone bedding, accompanied by bronze bedside tables to add a touch of quiet luxury, and encased by a feature grasscloth wallcovering.

The guest bedroom has darker tones weaved throughout, with the whole room’s décor inspired by the eye-catching woven artwork above the bed which entwines contrasting shades of soft sand, blush and striking charcoal.

One of the bedrooms has been designed with children in mind, with a full wall featuring an enchanted woodland mural. The remaining bedroom has a slightly more grown-up feel with a vintage country theme with subtle woodland wallpapered walls, and walnut bedside tables each with antique brass and linen pleated lamps that add a rural touch.

Samantha Leckie, Marketing Manager at Cala Homes (North), said: “This new showhome offers families the opportunity to envision life in the picturesque Milltimber countryside and with its autumn tones, now is the perfect time to launch it.

“Woodhurst is the fourth phase of our Milltimber masterplan - which is already so well loved, and we’ve had a fantastic response so far since launching the phase a few months ago.

“With our Milltimber community growing over the last years, we’re excited to have a brand-new sales suite and showhome to help inspire customers and prospective buyers.”

The home has been filled with items from local businesses in the Milltimber area, as part of Cala’s ‘Showhome of Support’ initiative which sees the housebuilder champion local suppliers throughout its showhomes including items such as furniture, decorations and local produce.

The Brodie showhome at Woodhurst includes products from the likes of Murtle Market, Braw Boutique, and Milton of Crathes

Eileen Kesson, lead designer at Envision carefully selected the ‘Showhome of Support’ items to match the interior colour palettes of the showhomes.

Samantha added: “We are committed to supporting the local areas in which we build and one of our key initiatives in which we demonstrate this is through Showhome of Support.

“Milltimber has some wonderful local businesses, and we’re delighted to highlight some of these and encourage homebuyers to support the businesses in the towns they are looking to put roots down in.”

Milltimber is set in a semi-rural location, surrounded by stunning woodlands and parks, whilst only being a 20-minute drive to Aberdeen city centre. The highly regarded area of Milltimber itself is particularly known for its attractive green surroundings and convenient location.
