Founded in 2010 in Aberdeen, the company has evolved from a local service provider into an international player in the oil and gas sector, with a presence in key markets such as the USA, Brazil, the UK, and Singapore.
SUBC Engineering’s journey began during a time of pressing challenges in the industry, including a significant energy crisis. However, the early years of robust oil and gas production enabled the company to establish a reputation for delivering skilled subsea engineers and project managers on short notice to essential projects around the world. This adaptability has been a cornerstone of the company’s sustained growth.
Today, SUBC Engineering employs a dedicated team of over 150 subsea engineering professionals globally. Its portfolio of services includes critical work scopes such as BOP and Choke Manifold change-outs, as well as major 5-year SPS (Special Periodic Surveys) across Europe. The company’s expertise supports offshore operations in various regions, including Africa, Brazil, Norway, the USA, the UK, and Southeast Asia.
The company’s commitment to international growth has driven its expansion into major markets. In 2015, it opened its first office in the USA, followed by a Brazilian office in 2019, and most recently a Singapore office in 2020.
