Local creative marketing agency Mearns & Gill is celebrating today (Friday, March 29) following its event team being shortlisted as finalists in the ‘Best Agency Events Planner or Team’ category at this year’s E Awards.

The E Awards showcases excellence in Scottish events and takes place on Thursday 25th April at the O2 Academy in Edinburgh. The award shortlisting comes off the back of a successful 2023 for awards as the agency scooped multiple wins for its clients in the global Indigo Design Awards 2023 and won ‘Best Integrated Campaign’ for client Jamieson Carry at the UK Agency Awards in London.

Suzanne Robertson, director and head of events at Mearns & Gill says: “Our events are all about bringing people together to learn, network and celebrate. To be recognised for our work as a team is fantastic. We deliver events all over the UK and Scandinavia, from intimate dinners for 25 people to technical lunch and learns, multiple-day conferences and full-scale black-tie events for over 750 people. The variety of requests from our clients really does make it a challenge but also fun for the team. Ultimately, seeing an event come together makes all the hard work worth it.”

Suzanne continues: “As a team and business we also had to embrace the world of virtual events in 2020. We completely reshaped our event delivery almost overnight to enable us to deliver webinars, virtual conferences, exhibitions, online awards, live streaming, and employee engagement, so that people could continue to participate, celebrate, broadcast their message, and stay connected during lockdown. We continue to deliver these to support hybrid workers and to connect organisations globally. We wish all finalists in our category the very best of luck and look forward to an evening of celebrations.”
