TechFest is inviting schools across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire to apply for TechFest Maths Into the Energy Mix, a one-day interactive event that demonstrates valuable insights into the energy sector to secondary school pupils.
Teachers are invited to nominate S3 pupils to take part in a programme of practical workshops and presentations. Pupils will explore a range of mathematical challenges, introducing fundamental concepts around energy forms, energy production, and finish up creating an energy plan for a small village.
These events, held in March are kindly sponsored by SPE Aberdeen (kindly hosted at OE:UK), and Emerson, giving young people the opportunity to work with volunteers from all aspects of the Industry.
