Ten ambitious North-east startups are competing for a share of £100,000 at the Regional EDGE North East 2026 final later this month.
After pitching their way through a competitive process, these founders have secured a place in the final of Regional EDGE North East — delivered in partnership between Opportunity North East Limited and Scottish EDGE, with funding from The Scottish Government.
On 17 March, at ONE Tech Hub, they will compete for prizes of up to £50,000 to accelerate their growth.
The 2026 finalists:
- Aqura Systems
- Bama Dreamline
- Cask Ventures Ltd
- clairvoyant.ai
- Annies German Bakery
- Hey Joey Solutions Ltd
- IPGN Solutions
- Canny Mushrooms
- Tuko Baby Ltd

Now in its second year, Regional EDGE North East champions entrepreneurial ambition across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. The competition funding is awarded through the rigorous Scottish EDGE process.
Beyond capital, winners join the EDGE alumni network and gain access to experienced mentors, strategic guidance and a powerful peer community. Every applicant also benefits from detailed feedback from an expert panel to strengthen their growth plans.
Jennifer Craw MBE, CEO of Opportunity North East, said: “It’s been great to work with Scottish EDGE again to bring Regional EDGE back to the north east in 2026, and we’ve had a fantastic response from startups. This is an exciting opportunity for founders and entrepreneurs to access funding to finance growth, and we wish all the finalists the best of luck with their pitches at ONE Tech Hub on 17 March.”
