Recently appointed CEO of Tendeka, Alan Pearson is driving his support behind The Archie Foundation’s Corporate Golf Day and appealing for further teams to join the tournament on Friday, June 9.

The corporate day out, held at Trump International Golf Club, is Alan’s third year as Chair of the events committee, ensuring the smooth organisation of the day and pushing sign-ups and sponsorships.

Alan said: “The Archie Foundation and Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital sit at the heart of the Aberdeen community, most of us have either used the facilities or know of someone who has. Personally, both my children used the facilities and as a result, I have always wanted to give back, so that people in future could have the same benefits my family had.

Alan has been instrumental in Tendeka’s growth since the company was formed in 2009. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer and the focal point for Tendeka during TAQA’s acquisition in 2022.

“Results within a company are driven by the actions and attitudes of the people who make up its workforce. Therefore, it is important to consider not only the professional lives of these employees, but also their personal values and motivations, and we think by helping local charities and in particular The Archie Foundation we are taking our workforce views into consideration.”

Last year the event raised an incredible £18,970, and there are currently two fourballs left for the event.

Lynne Brooks, Partnership Manager at The Archie Foundation said: “We are delighted to have the continued support of Alan, he has been such a huge asset to us since we began the event in 2021, going above and beyond to ensure we raise as much funds as possible for the babies and children we support at Archie.”
