In response to a vast level of opportunity in the North East and as part of a long term strategic plan; Texo DSI (UKCS) Ltd is pleased to announce that they have opened an office in Aberdeen.
Texo DSI (UKCS) Ltd is a specialist operational division of Texo Drone Survey and Inspection Limited; owner operators of the world’s most comprehensive and dynamic fleet of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, incorporating advanced multi-rotor and fixed wing RPAS (Remote Pilot Aircraft System).
The division specialises in the provision of ‘game changing’ UAV survey and inspection services for Oil & Gas, Renewables and industrial clients.
Strategically sited, adjacent to the harbour, Provender House at Waterloo Quay in the granite city will be home to Texo DSI (UKCS) Ltd.
Shelley Regan, commercial development manager of Texo DSI Ltd said: “We are absolutely delighted to be opening an office in Aberdeen. The North-east of Scotland is a key geographical market for us. We have developed a market-leading fleet of UAV platforms and associated survey and inspection technology that is ideally placed to service the demanding needs of not only the Oil and Gas community but a number of other mission-critical industrial sectors in the region.”
She added: “Our dedicated office and client meeting facilities will be an important aspect of our operations in the North-east going forward.”
The use of Remotely Operated Ariel Vehicles or UAV’s for survey and inspection has grown tremendously over the last number of years.
The technology is very much welcomed as an integral part of the survey and inspection landscape. It not only enables mission-critical industrial assets to be inspected live (and therefore saving clients’ significant amounts in associated shutdown costs) it represents a much safer inspection method than deploying personnel on ropes. Moreover, it is now one of the most efficient and accurate ways of surveying land and assets (primarily in Texo DSI’s Survey-Grade LiDAR technology).
