The Studio You Seek, a brand-new creative space launched by Aberdeenshire entrepreneur Lois Milne, has taken occupancy of a 1,600 sq. ft unit at Thainstone, on a 3-year lease.
Building on the success of her wedding content creation business, The Social You Seek, which launched in 2023, Lois, together with her Dad and business partner Rae Milne, will expand into a completely new but complementary venture with The Studio You Seek, a photography and content studio designed to serve a range of creatives and businesses across the North-east.

The Studio You Seek, which plans to open for business this autumn, will feature a multi-functional studio fitted with a cyclorama wall, portable sets, hair and makeup station, furniture staging area, and roller door access. With private parking and transport links via road, train, and bus, the studio will be ideally positioned for commercial photographers, podcasters, content creators, and event organisers.
“There’s nothing else like this locally,” said founder Lois Milne. “Most studios are set up in converted office spaces or apartment rooms so I wanted to create something entirely new, something practical, luxurious and versatile that can serve a huge range of creative needs.”
