The Fife Arms is pleased to announce the exciting line-up for the fourth annual Festival of Fashion, taking place from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th November 2026 in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, with tickets now on sale.
Inspired by fashion editor Frances Farquharson and fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli, the three-day festival celebrates the intersection of fashion, culture, and creativity, bringing together leading designers, curators, stylists, journalists and creative voices for a programme of talks, conversations and exhibitions exploring fashion’s past, present and future.
This year’s programme will explore everything from the enduring influence of British fashion and the history of Scottish dress to the art of the fashion show and the stories behind some of the world’s most recognizable garments.
Highlights of the 2026 Festival of Fashion include:
- ‘Fashioning the Crown’: acclaimed fashion writer and author Justine Picardie in conversation with Oriole Cullen, Head of Modern Textiles and Fashion at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
- Mulberry: Christopher and Tammy Kane in conversation with Kirsty Wark.
- Edeline Lee in conversation with Lydia Slater.
- ‘Catwalk: The Art of the Fashion Show’ Show charts the evolution of the catwalk from the private salons of the late 19th century to today’s immersive, live-streamed runway experiences.
- ‘The Burberry Trench: Crafting an Icon’.
- ‘How Scotland Dressed the World’.
- The Power of Textiles and Mary, Queen of Scots.
- Nicholas Daley in conversation with Leonie Bell.
Alongside this programme of talks, The Fife Arms will host a special display of garments from Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, celebrating the work and creativity of Scotland’s emerging design talent. The festival reflects The Fife Arms’ longstanding commitment to celebrating creativity and craftsmanship, while creating a platform for conversations between established industry figures, emerging talent and audiences from across the UK and beyond. With its combination of fashion, art, culture and the natural beauty of the Cairngorms, the Festival of Fashion offers a unique opportunity to experience some of the most exciting voices in the fashion world in one of Scotland’s most atmospheric settings.
