The Ivy Lodge, located in Aberdeen’s food and drinks hub Shiprow Village, has been shortlisted for Spirits Bar of the Year at the 2025 Scottish Licensed Trade News (SLTN) Awards, in association with Schweppes.

The award recognises venues with a carefully considered range of spirits tailored to their customers, and The Ivy Lodge has been acknowledged for excellence in this area for the second consecutive year.

The Shiprow venue features a grand award-winning terrace space with an upstairs bar that increases capacity to 300. A floor-to-ceiling gantry displays an extensive collection of spirits, while exposed brick walls, neon accents, and hanging lights create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The upstairs area overlooks one of Aberdeen’s oldest streets, Shiprow, as well as the Harbour, making it one of the favourites during this year’s Tall Ships celebrations.

The Ivy Lodge joins other notable venues in the award category, including Bruach in Broughty Ferry and Masonic Arms in Kirkcudbright. The recognition highlights the venue’s commitment to delivering high-quality drinks and a distinctive guest experience in Aberdeen’s growing drinks scene.

Visit them Wednesday to Sunday, on Shiprow.
