Aberdeen based marketing and events agency has confirmed that The Parent and Baby Show has doubled in size due to an overwhelming demand from businesses.

Aberdeen events arena P&J Live will be home of The Parent and Baby Show on the weekend of September 14 and 15, with over 100 brands and industry experts there to provide guidance and advice to parents and parents-to-be.

Breakwater Agency Founder, Adele Slater, “We knew that there was an appetite for this type of event, but it wasn’t until after the launch that we realised quite how important the show was for the North-east.

"After the great success of launching the show, we found ourselves wanting to give the attendees the best experience possible by adding more to the show. We can't wait for you guys to see what we’ve been up to, it is not a show to miss out on.

"The show is bringing industry experts to speak over the weekend, including paediatric dietician Ailsa McHardy who will provide top tips for weaning, and how to deal with allergies and Stacey Will who will talk about overwhelm and simple steps that can help you find the right balance.”

Adele continues: “What started as an opportunity for parents to purchase big-ticket items has grown into a full-circle parent and baby event. We have everything from prenatal and birthing plans through to postnatal care, child development, education, and parent support.”

Over the space of the weekend, there will be 14 different speakers, covering everything from how to minimise pre birth anxiety, through to children’s first aid and dealing with mum guilt.

Stacey Will from the Personal Growth Collective commented, “I am thrilled to be speaking at the Parent and Baby Show. As a working mum, I understand how overwhelming parenting can be, and having services and tools available under one roof will be fantastic in supporting parents navigating this challenging phase.

"Since becoming a mum, I have really understood the importance of community, so it's wonderful to see an event like this in the North-east of Scotland to bring other parents together. ”

The event has seen a great response due to its fundamentals of being an affordable way for the region to get first-hand access to information, products and in-person demos all under the one roof. It serves as a nurturing space for parents or parents-to-be; to shop, network and grow, with it being the number one destination for all things parent and baby.

The Parent and Baby Show is being held at P&J Live on September 14 and 15. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased here.
