The Research Chamber at Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce has launched two surveys to assess the economic, social, and community impact of the ongoing Aboyne Bridge closure - and we need your help to make the evidence as robust as possible.
The bridge has been closed since November 2023 and this independent research, commissioned by the Aboyne Business Association, Mid Deeside Community Council, and Birse and Ballogie Community Council, will look to gather evidence of the real impacts being felt, forming the base for engagement with key stakeholders around mitigation measures and future solutions.

Running a business in the area? Complete the business survey — takes 10–15 minutes and covers impacts on activity, costs, customers, employees, and future growth plans.
Living / working in the area? Complete the residents survey — and please share it with your workforce, customers, and neighbours.
All responses are confidential and reported in aggregate only. The surveys close at the end of June.
