The Trinity Centre ‘s Easter Egg Appeal total

This year saw The Trinity Centre launch their sixteenth annual Easter Egg Appeal and has been one of the most 'egg-cellent' yet.

With the continuous support from shoppers, local businesses and Trinity Centre contractors this year the centre has collected a cracking 4,294 eggs, almost 800 more eggs that last year.

Since 2000 the centre has distributed over 41,600 eggs to over 50 worthwhile children’s organisations, charities, hospitals and family centres in Aberdeen.

The Trinity Centre would also like to pass on a heartfelt thank you to Sainsbury’s who organised the delivery of over 3,000 eggs and also kindly donated nearly 250 extra eggs to the cause, making every egg count.

General Manager, Linda Stewart and the rest of the Trinity Team would like to thank every single customer who donated a chocolate egg at the drop off point in the mall or down at reception, and to remind those who contributed that they have helped make a difference to a child this Easter.

Linda commented, “We are delighted with the response that the appeal has attracted. We have developed a strong relationship with our shoppers along with local and national companies that have offered there continuous support throughout the years.

It makes all the hard work worthwhile when you get to see how happy the children are when they receive their egg.”

The Trinity Centre staff along with Giddy the Gorilla recently delivered Easter Eggs to children in Mastrick and Northfield.
