Experienced hospitality leader joins the Union Terrace Gardens venue as it continues to grow its day-to-night offering in the heart of Aberdeen.
The Wild Goose has appointed Liana Noble as its new General Manager, bringing over 15 years of hospitality experience to the popular Union Terrace Gardens venue.
Liana joins The Wild Goose following her most recent role at Fasque Castle Estate, where she further developed her experience in delivering high-quality hospitality and guest experiences. Prior to this, she served as Hotel Operations Manager at Meldrum House Hotel, building a strong track record in operational leadership, team development and customer service.
In her new role, Liana will lead the team at The Wild Goose as the venue continues to establish itself as a distinctive destination in Aberdeen city centre. Overlooking Union Terrace Gardens, The Wild Goose offers a relaxed and welcoming setting that moves effortlessly from daytime brunch and coffee through to evening drinks and locally inspired small plates.
With a focus on quality, atmosphere and warm Scottish hospitality, Liana will play a key role in supporting the venue’s continued development and strengthening its position at the heart of the city’s evolving food and drink scene.
Her appointment comes at an exciting time for The Wild Goose as it continues to build its day-to-night offering and welcome both regular visitors and those discovering the venue for the first time.
Liana said: “I’m excited to help invigorate Aberdeen city centre and thrilled to be joining the team. The Wild Goose has a fantastic setting and a real opportunity to continue developing as a destination for people to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know our guests, working with the team and helping create an experience that feels welcoming, vibrant and distinctly connected to the city.”
The Wild Goose’s city-centre location, combined with its views across Union Terrace Gardens, provides a unique backdrop for everything from relaxed brunches and casual catch-ups to after-work drinks and evenings spent sharing locally inspired dishes.
With Liana now at the helm, the team is looking forward to the next chapter for The Wild Goose and to continuing its contribution to the energy and vitality of Aberdeen city centre.
