Union Street's tabletop gaming retail store, Thistle Tavern Games Hub, has extended its daily opening hours to 12:00 PM to meet growing local customer demand.

The operational shift addresses an increased appetite for daytime visits, offering a dedicated space for city-centre visitors and workers on lunch breaks. Following the successful rollout of midday openings at the company’s Shandwick Place location in Edinburgh earlier this summer, the Aberdeen team has been expanded to support the new schedule.
The expanded afternoon hours provide a relaxed environment for visitors seeking tailored game recommendations or introductory sessions for popular trading card games such as Gundam, Riftbound, and Neuroscape.
The store’s evening events calendar remains unchanged, with community sessions and competitive play continuing to launch daily at 6:30 PM.
