Aberdeen-based wedding and event décor company, Thoughts and Crosses Ltd, is growing its freelance team as it heads into a busy 2026 summer season.
The business is currently looking for Wedding & Event Setup Assistants to support across weddings, corporate events and private celebrations throughout Aberdeen and the North-east.
Director Emma Higgins said: “We’re heading into our busiest time of year, so it felt like the right time to grow our team again. We’ve already got a great team around us, and we’re just looking to add a few more people who are reliable, hands-on and up for being part of it all.”
The role is flexible freelance work, usually around one to two weekends per month, helping with the preparation, setup and takedown of event/wedding décor.
Emma added: "It’s definitely not just the pretty side of weddings - there are early starts, heavy lifting and quick turnarounds - but seeing everything come together on the day makes it worth it."
Thoughts and Crosses works across weddings, corporate events and everything from smaller celebrations to large-scale events across the North-east, and has seen continued demand going into the 2026 season.
