With just 12 weeks to go until opening night of His Majesty’s Theatre’s pantomime, Cinderella on Saturday, November 29, Aberdeen Performing Arts has partnered with renowned local family-run jeweller, Jamieson & Carry to kick off the countdown to the most magical time of the year.
Aberdeen Performing Arts Chief Executive, Sharon Burgess, said: “As a much-loved local jeweller, Jamieson & Carry understand the magic a touch of sparkle can bring to our lives.
“At His Majesty’s Theatre we love being part of special memories being made and we have this in common with the wonderful team at Jamieson & Carry – you could say it was a perfect fit!
“With lots of festive fun on the way, I’m delighted to say the countdown to panto is officially on!”
Christopher Carry, Partner at Jamieson & Carry, said: “This year we are celebrating 100 years since we moved into 142 Union Street. What better way to help celebrate this milestone than by supporting the incredible HMT Pantomime, which brings so much joy and magic to the city at Christmas time.
“We are passionate about our city centre, and the opportunity to support Aberdeen Performing Arts, which plays such a vital role in encouraging people into our city, was one we were only too happy to embrace. We very much look forward to seeing the show when the curtain rises in November!”
Cinderella is on at His Majesty’s Theatre from Saturday, November 29 to Sunday, January 4 2026.
Scottish acting royalty and Strictly winner Joe McFadden and Shetland and Monarch of the Glen star Dawn Steele will lead the cast, with Joe stepping into the role of Prince Charming and Dawn taking on the role of the Fairy Godmother.

HMT stalwart Paul J Corrigan makes a welcome return as Buttons, and panto favourite Danielle Jam will take on the title role as Cinderella. Returning star Julie Coombe and acclaimed performer Helen Logan will team up as the Wicked Sisters.
The show is being staged by Crossroads Pantomimes, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, led by Michael Harrison and the team that have produced the His Majesty’s Theatre panto for over 20 years, with the usual abundance of comedy, lavish sets, fabulous costumes, and of course a few surprises in store.
You shall go to the ball this Christmas with the spectacular family pantomime, Cinderella. Packed with all the traditional pantomime ingredients Aberdeen audiences expect, Cinderella features laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses.
Join Cinders as she goes from rags to riches, outwits her very wicked sisters and meets her Prince Charming.
