Tidy Green Clean is delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Barclay to its business development team, bringing with him more than two decades of leadership experience across facilities management, security, oil and gas, and financial services.

Scott joins Tidy Green Clean following two years as Commercial Director with CSG Clean and Grampian Packaging, where he played a key role in driving commercial growth and strengthening client partnerships.

Prior to that, he spent six years with Wilson James as Business Director, overseeing operations across a broad geographical area from Shetland to Manchester. His earlier career includes three and a half years in the oil and gas sector with Wood, as well as 12 years in banking with Bank of Scotland and Clydesdale Bank, where he developed a strong foundation in commercial strategy, relationship management and financial leadership.

Scott’s appointment marks an exciting step forward for Tidy Green Clean as the business continues to expand its footprint and enhance its service offering across the Scotland. His breadth of experience across multiple sectors, combined with his strong commercial acumen, will support the company’s ambitions for sustainable growth and long-term client partnerships.

Scott joins the business following a challenging personal period, having been made redundant in July 2025. Shortly afterwards, he faced a significant cancer diagnosis and underwent major surgery in September 2025. Demonstrating resilience and determination, Scott is now focused on the next chapter of his professional journey and is eager to contribute his expertise and energy to Tidy Green Clean’s continued success.
