GLULAM SOLUTIONS Ltd. have just commenced work on their largest single project to-date (£1m+), to design, supply and install the timber engineered main structure for the new Stoneywood Primary School.
Being built on the site of the former Bankhead Academy under main contractor Morgan Sindall, Glulam Solutions will deliver a sustainable timber building envelope, utilising glulam, cross laminated timber (CLT) and fully insulated Val-U-Therm panel systems, all of which will be constructed in 5 phases over a 13 week on-site period.
The company have just completed projects for another new primary school at Uryside - Inverurie, a replacement clubhouse at Highland Rugby Club, the replacement visitor centre at Falls of Shin, a new Pret-A-Manger food kiosk in Glasgow and a holiday complex amenity building at Drimsynie, Argyll.
