TLC has successfully completed a time-critical chartering operation from Luanda, Angola, to Takoradi, Ghana, involving the transport of 132 metric tons and 274 cubic metres of project cargo.
In addition to arranging the charter, TLC handled the cargo’s customs export clearance in Angola as part of its established agency services for the client. The operation required close coordination between the client, customs authorities, port representatives and the vessel agent.
By coordinating the chartering, agency and customs clearance activities, TLC was able to anticipate potential issues and complete the required formalities efficiently, helping to avoid delays to the vessel’s departure.
The successful operation demonstrates the value of combining chartering, agency and logistics expertise within a coordinated approach, particularly for time-sensitive cargo movements across West Africa.
