Leading auctioneering companies, Thainstone Specialist Auctions and Aberdeen & Northern Marts (divisions of ANM Group) held their monthly Live Online Collective sale at Thainstone Centre on Wednesday 19th April, including a Timed Online Auction of Building and Industrial equipment.
Popular demand continues for good quality second-hand equipment which reflects in strong prices achieved at the monthly sale. Highlights from sale include two 2017 Belle B30E 6x6 Dump Trucks reaching the top prices of £78,000 and £74,500, followed by a 2018 JCB 540-140 Hi Viz Telehandler achieving £39,000 in the tractors, telehandlers and plant equipment section. In the Vehicles, commercials and 4x4’s category a 2021 Fiat Ducato 35 Shadow Edition M-Jet Panel Van sold for £17,500 as well as a 2021 Nissan E-NV200 Acenta (Electric) Panel Van achieving £8,000. Within the Lorries section a DAF LF55 250 4x2 12t tipper sold for £15,500 and in the implements and small agricultural equipment category a Kuhn 4 Metre Folding One Pass sold at the price of £6,000. In the trailers section a 2015 Houghton Parkhouse 4 Deck Float sold to £49,500 and lastly the small plant category saw a Hinowa Goldlift 14-70 Tracked Ariel Platform achieve £8,900.

Nearly 700 bidders registered prior and throughout the sale, which resulted in an 80.1% clearance rate.
