The team at Town and Country Serviced Apartments were delighted to be chosen again this summer to provide accommodation for 12 students during their 4-week visit to Aberdeen.

The university students and young professionals, selected and sponsored by the Nippon Foundation, are some of the top engineering students from across Japan. They arrived in Aberdeen at the beginning of August as part of an international Summer School programme with a focus on energy transition. This is the 8th year this annual programme has been delivered by Robert Gordon University (RGU).

There was a busy first day as along with Rainbow Prestige, the team at Town and Country Serviced Apartments collected them from the airport from various flights and drove them to the Ferryhill apartments.

During their stay, the students took part in a series of activities, including tours of Aberdeen’s historic landmarks, a day to Edinburgh and of course a visit to Pittodrie Stadium. They also met with local students and got to experience life in the northeast of Scotland.

The team at Town and Country Serviced Apartments do hope that they had an enjoyable visit to Aberdeen and that they found the serviced accommodation comfortable and suitable for their needs during their stay. Everyone looks forward to hopefully welcoming them back again next year!
