Aberdeen-based consultancy Protea has appointed Andrew Towsey as Director of Procurement, as the business continues to expand its contract management, commercial advisory and strategic procurement capabilities.
Andrew brings nearly two decades of procurement and supply chain experience across the energy, drilling and engineering sectors. Throughout his career, he has led strategic sourcing initiatives, category management programmes and supplier governance frameworks, helping organisations manage risk while maximising commercial outcomes and strengthening supplier performance.
As Director of Procurement, Andrew will support clients with procurement strategy, sourcing optimisation, supplier relationship management and commercial governance. He will also support the continued development of Protea’s service offering as the business expands its support across contract management, procurement and commercial advisory disciplines.
The appointment reflects Protea's commitment to helping organisations access experienced procurement and commercial support in a flexible and scalable way, without the need for permanent in-house resource.
