New questions are emerging over what the future holds for the former John Lewis building in Aberdeen, after tradesmen were seen coming in and out.

Talks to create a North-east produce market ended in stalemate, while the owners of the building, EP Properties, didn't comment.

Workers going into the building didn't choose to comment.

Plans had been drawn up by a collective made up of climate campaigners and multicultural groups for a food and drink market, separate to plans for the new Aberdeen Market on Union Street.

But they've seemingly failed to progress, leaving the building dormant for now.
