The Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen were proud to host a post–Doors Open Day reception at the historic Trinity Hall on Wednesday evening, bringing together representatives from across the city’s cultural, civic, and architectural landscape to celebrate a weekend of open-hearted hospitality and heritage.
The reception served as a formal thank-you to all participating venues, volunteers, and coordinators who made Doors Open Day 2025 a resounding success. From hidden chapels to bustling workshops, Aberdeen’s rich tapestry of spaces welcomed thousands of visitors, offering glimpses into the stories, craftsmanship, and community spirit that define the city.
Regional coordinator for Aberdeen City, Seonaidh Baker expressed deep appreciation for the collective effort.
She said: “Doors Open Day is more than an event—it’s a civic gesture. Each venue that opened its doors helped weave a stronger connection between Aberdeen’s past, present, and future. We’re grateful to every steward of heritage who made this possible.”
