As a registered Scottish charity, Tullos Training Ltd has been at the heart of apprenticeship and vocational training in the North-east of Scotland for decades, helping to develop the skilled workforce that local industry depends upon.

To ensure its apprentices continue to gain hands-on experience with real engineering equipment, Tullos Training is appealing to businesses across the region for donations of surplus, redundant, or no longer required engineering assets that can be used within its training programmes.

Many organisations have equipment that is no longer in operational use but still has significant educational value.  By donating these items, companies can play a direct role in helping apprentices develop practical skills, understand industrial processes, and gain experience with equipment they are likely to encounter throughout their careers.

Tullos Training is particularly interested in receiving donations of:

  • Small compressors
  • Pumps
  • Electric motors
  • Gearboxes
  • Machine tools
  • Processing plant equipment
  • Transfer and conveying equipment
  • Workholding devices
  • Process control valves
  • Small mechanical structures
  • Lifting and handling equipment
  • Bar stock
  • Company-specific engineering equipment
  • Electrical equipment

Tullos Training also welcomes discussions regarding other engineering-related items that may support apprentice learning and skills development.

Every donation, regardless of size, contributes to creating realistic training environments that help prepare young people for successful careers in engineering and industry.  Equipment donated to Tullos Training is used to enhance practical learning opportunities and ensure apprentices gain valuable experience before entering the workplace.

By supporting Tullos Training, organisations are investing directly in the future workforce of the North-east and helping to develop the next generation of engineers, technicians and skilled professionals.

Businesses interested in donating equipment or learning more about how they can support Tullos Training are encouraged to get in touch by contacting Engineering Manager, Neil Campbell on 01224 872316 or at n.campbell@tullostraining.co.uk
