STV today announces that iconic Scottish biscuit brand Tunnock’s will be the first advertiser on its new commercial radio station, STV Radio, which is set to launch in the coming months.

STV and Tunnocks have a longstanding partnership, with the beloved biscuit brand also being the first advertiser on STV’s broadcast TV channel over 60 years ago.

Tunnock’s debut campaign will run on the station for an initial six-month period with light-hearted creative being delivered by Glasgow Ad Agency Levy McCallum.  

STV Radio will bring a fresh new offering to the market, with distinct content created especially for a Scottish audience, including a mix of music, sport, news and entertainment with lots of chat and special guests. Presenters confirmed so far include breakfast show hosts Ewen and Cat, with Greigsy taking the mic late morning and Webster on drive time - with more announcements coming soon.

STV Radio is based at STV’s headquarters in Pacific Quay, Glasgow, and will be available on DAB and online.

STV’s radio station is part of its newly created Audience division, which also includes the company’s broadcast channel STV and streaming service STV Player. The business will offer advertisers a unique multi-platform, cost-effective and hyper-targeted commercial package across Scotland - an unmatched combination of scale and precision.
