Fraserburgh engineering firm Gray & Adams has reported a strong rise in profits and turnover after another successful year of trading.

The refrigerated trailer manufacturer reported turnover of £245.6million for the year to May 2, 2025, up 11.8% from £219.8million the previous year, according to newly filed accounts.

Pre-tax profits increased to £25.6million, compared with £18.6million in 2024, The Press & Journal reports.

Its refrigerated trailers are used by major supermarket chains including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons and Aldi.

The business employed almost 780 people during the year, with a total wage bill of £40.1million.

The company said its strong financial performance leaves it well placed to reinvest in its people, facilities and customers, with plans to invest £1.8milllion at its Fraserburgh headquarters this year.
