Aberdeen’s world-class conference and events destination, TECA, is delighted to announce the appointment of two new members to its growing sales team: Debbie Mair as Senior Business Development Manager (Corporate Sales) and Ilhan Cetiner as Sales Executive (Premium, Conference & Events Sales).
Debbie joins TECA to support the growth of the venue’s national and international conference, banqueting and events business. With more than 25 years of commercial sales experience, Debbie brings a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships and delivering commercial success. Most recently serving as Director of Sales at Radisson Hotels’ Park Inn Aberdeen, she is well placed to expand the venue’s market presence and create new opportunities within the corporate sector.
Ilhan joins the team in a role focused on selling premium hospitality packages across the P&J Live Arena’s programme of shows, concerts and live events, as well as supporting the commercial success of the venue’s own events portfolio including The Getaway Show and the Workforce Wellbeing & Safety Expo.
Drawing on experience gained at The Marcliffe’s Conference & Events management team and as Duty Manager at Loch Ness Inn where he led event delivery across conferences, weddings, galas and large-scale events, Ilhan brings a strong blend of client relationship management, business development and operational expertise.
In his new role, Ilhan will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships and helping to grow the venue’s premium hospitality offerings.
Both appointments reflect TECA’s continued commitment to investing in its commercial team and driving forward its ambitious growth strategy.
