The University of Aberdeen is inviting prospective students to explore everything it has to offer at its upcoming Undergraduate Open Day on 26 August 2025.

Open to all regardless of age or current study status, this is a unique opportunity for families to experience the campus first-hand, meet with academic staff and ask the important questions about the University’s programmes, careers and student services.

The Open Day will include subject and student support exhibitions and information talks; and advice on student finance, UCAS applications and careers.

Campus tours are also available, including the chance to visit the architecturally award-winning Sir Duncan Rice Library, Aberdeen Sports Village, Aberdeen Aquatics Centre and the student accommodation at Hillhead Student Village.

As well as activities at the King’s College Campus, visitors can sign up to find out about studying Medicine at the University’s state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities at Foresterhill.

Ranked 1st in the UK for Medicine in the Guardian University Guide 2025 rankings, the University’s Medical School features purpose-built healthcare education centres on one of the largest health campuses in Europe.

Dr Sally Middleton, Head of UK Recruitment, Access & Outreach, said: “Our Open Day gives students, and their friends, families and advisors a chance to explore our beautiful campus and learn more about the fantastic teaching and support we offer.

“With a proud history of breaking boundaries dating back to 1495 and a strong focus on preparing students for the careers of tomorrow, the University offers a world-class education in a welcoming and safe environment.

“Everyone is welcome to attend Open Day regardless of when they plan to begin their studies with us. We encourage families from across the north-east and beyond to attend together and get a true feel for life at the University of Aberdeen.”

The Open Day takes place on Tuesday 26 August from 8.30am to 3.30pm at King's College Campus, Old Aberdeen and Foresterhill Campus (Medicine only)

Find out more or register to attend by visiting the University website.

A second Open Day will take place on Saturday 4 October.
