The University of Aberdeen has relaunched its online learning website with a fresh new look and name – University of Aberdeen Online.
Part of the university’s commitment to improving access to online learning for all, the refreshed website offers more than 170 online short courses and 50 online degrees in a variety of subject areas including nutrition and health, business, law, energy and engineering. The courses are designed to fit around full-time work, so students can choose when and where to study.
Students can also earn National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher equivalent qualifications in subject areas such as Maths, English, Biology and Physics, giving them the opportunity to achieve the grades they need to go on and complete further study.
Visit on.abdn.ac.uk to see the changes, which includes an expanded catalogue of online short courses and enhanced user experience:
- The short course route – a flexible way to earn postgraduate qualification online, one short course at a time
- The degree scheduler – a great tool to help students personalise their degree, setting their own workload, study pace and costs term by term
Head of online education at the University of Aberdeen, Robin Cummins, said: “We are delighted to relaunch University of Aberdeen’s online learning platform with a renewed commitment to expanding access to high-quality online education for learners everywhere.
“Whether you are looking to explore a new interest, earn in-demand skills, or take the next step in your career, our updated website is designed to make it easier for you to find the course you need and learn more about your options.”
