A Golden Square office block which has been vacant for more than 10 years could be transformed into homes.

If plans are approved, the block at 6 Golden Square in the heart of the city centre could be reverted back to its original residential use.

Developers say the change of use would help reduce the number of cars in the city centre.

The proposals are featured in The Press and Journal's Planning Ahead round-up.

The newspaper also highlights five key offices currently for sale in Aberdeen, including The Exchange No.1 & No.2 on Market Street for £4.5million.

The former BT building on College Street is also on the market for £2million.

Picturesque office buildings are also for sale on Albyn Place, Queens Cross and Carden Place.
