VisitAberdeenshire appeals to local tourism businesses

VisitAberdeenshire is appealing to local businesses to provide vital information which will help to demonstrate the impact tourism is having on the North-east economy.

The tourism industry barometer, a quarterly survey facilitated by VisitScotland, provides the sector with an up-to-date picture of how the industry is performing nationally and regionally from January to March.

Deirdre O’Donnell, insights and evaluation manager of VisitAberdeenshire said, “The information from local industry is imperative to build a clear and accurate picture of how the North-east tourism industry is performing. The businesses that complete the survey can also benefit from the information and use the findings as evidence to support investment decisions, and provide information to help current and future business decisions, as well as informing industry of new and emerging trends. The Barometer is anonymous, online and straightforward to complete and I would encourage local tourism businesses to complete the survey and review the results when published.”
