VisitAberdeenshire has appointed Millie Clarke to the role of Head of Business Development.
Millie joins VisitAberdeenshire from Angus Council’s Economic Development team where she was the lead for tourism.
With many years’ experience in marketing, economic development and tourism Millie will manage the Convention and Events Bureau and Travel Trade teams, promoting Aberdeenshire as a destination to tour operators and conference and event planners.
Millie said: ‘I’m delighted to join the VisitAberdeenshire team at a time when there’s so much going on! I’m really looking forward to working with UKinbound to welcome their members to the region for their annual convention in September – it will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to the travel trade.
“It’s also an exciting time to join the Convention and Events Bureau as in-person events return to the region. This part of Scotland has so much to offer and I’m looking forward to playing my part in spreading the word.”
