As part of Challenge Poverty Week, Employers across Aberdeenshire are invited to attend a professional development event focused on employability and financial inclusion on Tuesday 7th October 9.30-3pm.
Taking place at Woodhill House, and organised by Aberdeenshire Council and partners, the event offers a rich programme of learning, collaboration, and practical tools to strengthen local service delivery.
The event features presentations from the Scottish Government and NHS Grampian, a documentary screening (Local Voices), and a panel Q&A with decision-makers across Aberdeenshire.
Workshops cover youth engagement, the Living Wage, energy advice, green jobs, and lived experience frameworks—offering practical insights to strengthen frontline delivery. Barclays will also present free digital and financial literacy tools for communities.
