Tickets for Sing, Sing, Sing!, the beloved musical fundraiser supporting local social care charity VSA, are available now via Aberdeen Box Office and the VSA website.
To celebrate the event’s 10th anniversary this year a global invitation was sent to Aberdeen choirs across the world, from America to Australia. VSA is thrilled to announce that Hong Kong Parents Choir, in Aberdeen, Hong Kong, will be taking part in our celebrations this year.
Sing, Sing, Sing! will take place at Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Saturday 16th November 2025, where music and magic will come together to raise crucial funds for VSA’s Linn Moor Residential School which supports children from all over Scotland with complex learning needs. All participating choirs will be fundraising to upgrade the school's technology, enhancing the learning experience for every child.
Tickets will be available online only through Aberdeen Box Office, any queries regarding tickets will be managed by Aberdeen Music Hall. Standard tickets are £18, and concessions are £15.
Among the participants, one choir is making history. The Hong Kong Parents Choir from Aberdeen, Hong Kong, will be joining Sing, Sing, Sing! – marking the first time an international choir has taken part.
Hailing from the bustling district of Aberdeen on Hong Kong Island, the choir brings a vibrant cultural voice to the celebration. Their participation highlights the power of music to bridge continents and connect communities across vast distances, over 5,900 miles.
Paul Yau, the Hong Kong Parents Choir Music Director, shared heartfelt words on behalf of the choir: “Singing joins us all, no matter where we are from. May we all join hands and hearts to embrace and celebrate music and to use music as a channel to support our communities.”
VSA’s Sing, Sing, Sing! event, co-founded by singer Fiona Kennedy and Musical Director Laura Pike, returns to Aberdeen’s Music Hall this November with a global invitation to choirs of ‘Aberdeen’.
They will be supporting several regional choirs, competing for the coveted winners title, and sharing their own special performance.
Aberdeen’s Lord Provost David Cameron also shares his support: “Once again in 2025, in collaboration with VSA, Fiona Kennedy and Laura Pike will be delivering this fantastic event which raises funds to support VSA’s vital services.
"What makes this year even more special is the global element, with choirs from other towns and cities named Aberdeen around the world joining in. From Aberdeen in South Dakota to Aberdeen in Australia - and now, for the first time, Aberdeen in Hong Kong - this unique international celebration of song will connect communities across continents in a joyful act of unity, all in support of those who need it most here in the North-east of Scotland.”
Co-founders, singer Fiona Kennedy, and Musical Director Laura Pike, are delighted to host Sing, Sing, Sing! again to support VSA and the vital services they provide for the community. It promises to be a night of wonderful celebration, music, and community.
Fiona Kennedy, singer and Honorary President of VSA, said: “This will be such a joyful evening with the choirs on stage and families and friends in the audience. Also, having the Hong Kong Parents Choir on our screens will add another exciting dimension and connect us to another ‘Aberdeen’ in another part of the world – all through the love of singing.”
Laura Pike, co-founder and musical director, adds: “This is what music is all about – connection, confidence, community. And this year, we’re inviting a global family of Aberdeens to be part of something unforgettable.”
Funds raised from this year’s event will go directly towards Linn Moor School, VSA’s specialist facility for children and young people with complex needs, including autism.
The goal is to raise £20,000 to support the purchase of essential assistive technologies, including:
- Interactive smart boards
- Tablets and iPads with educational apps
- Sensory projectors
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- VR headsets for social and emotional learning
- Adaptive switches, eye-tracking devices, and specialised keyboards
- Noise-cancelling headphones
“This event is one of the shining stars in our fundraising calendar,” says Aimée Anderson, Director of Business Development, Marketing, and Innovation at VSA. “The vulnerable children and adults we support need your help now more than ever. Every ticket sold, every note sung, helps us continue providing much needed care and support. Whether you’re in Aberdeen Scotland or one of our sister Aberdeens, we’d love your help.”
