W M Donald Ltd, a construction and civil engineering company based in Aberdeen, is setting a remarkable example in collaboration with the North East Scotland College (NESCOL).

Through their proactive engagement, they are fostering the next generation of skilled professionals by hosting an apprentice day. This initiative not only demonstrates their commitment to nurturing talent but also highlights their dedication to supporting the local community.

The apprentice day serves as a platform for 16 apprentices from W M Donald, JKR, Leiths, Hunters, Nicol Of Skene, AA Civils and Chap to gain firsthand experience and exposure to the construction industry.

W M Donald Ltd, made this day happen with the support of their suppliers which allowed them to showcase a diverse range of small and large plant machinery, providing apprentices with valuable insights into their operations. This hands-on approach allows apprentices to familiarize themselves with the equipment and processes vital to the industry, setting a solid foundation for their future careers.
