Well Academy, a global provider of training for the energy sector, has introduced new specialist well operations courses at its Westhill training facility.

Two new additions to the curriculum include Stuck Pipe Prevention & Recovery and Extended Reach Drilling – High Angle Operations. The ModuSpec Hands-On BOP Course has also been updated and is now available in both theoretical and practical formats in the Aberdeen area.

These courses complement Well Academy’s existing portfolio, which includes International Well Control Forum (IWCF) well intervention and drilling well control programmes and ModuSpec rig equipment courses, such as the Rig Inspection Workshop and Well Control Equipment Course.

Training is delivered through Well Academy’s network of dedicated and partner centres worldwide. Courses can also be arranged at client locations, with options for tailored, bespoke content to meet specific challenges or training needs.
